Important community update (wearing masks)

From today (Sunday the 3rd of January) in line with government restrictions, you will be required to wear a mask when visiting our centre. Children under the age of 12 are exempt however it is encouraged that they wear a mask when possible.

At Minto our increased cleaning measures are still in place since March and as of today we ask the community to help us continue our efforts by adhering to new government guidelines on wearing masks.

Face masks will be mandatory in the following indoor settings:

  • shopping (retail, supermarkets and shopping centres)
  • public/shared transport
  • indoor entertainment (including cinemas and theatres)
  • places of worship
  • hair and beauty premises
  • Gym classes reduced to 30 people

It will be mandatory for you to wear a face-covering at all times whilst visiting us will commence from Monday, January 4th, 2021 with $200 on the spot fines for individuals for non-compliance. These fines are issued by local authorities on behalf of the NSW Government under the Public Health Act. Tips on wearing face masks:
To ensure you are protecting yourself and the community please ensure you follow the below advice on wearing masks when in centre
– Wash or sanitise your hands before putting on or taking off your mask.
-Ensure the mask covers your nose and mouth and fits snugly under your chin, over the bridge of your nose and against the sides of your face.
-Refrain from touching the front of your mask while wearing or removing it.
-Do not allow the mask to hang around your neck or under your nose.
-Do not reuse single-use masks.
-Wash and dry reusable masks after use and store in a clean, dry place.
